Compilation CD Text and Error Checking

Hey everybody, I'm new to the form. I need to burn my first Red Book Master with WaveBurner tomorrow and I have 2 questions.

How am I able to adjust the artist CD Text for each song. The CD is 6 tracks but 4 different artists and I can't find out how to edit the artist for each track.

Also, what is the best way you guys do to error check after you have burnt the CD?
